A thirteen bed PICU ward which cares for sick children who need very close observation from doctors, nurses and other members of the PICU team.
Many patients are admitted as emergencies, or transfers from other wards at Addenbrooke’s or other hospitals.
The project involved a full electrical upgrade to the ward, including new light fittings, under wiring, and the installation of uninterruptible power supplies – to ensure a continuous supply of electricity in the event of a power cut or other electrical fault.
The package also included new doors, ceilings, decoration, medical bed head trunking and pendants.
Our works included the internal doorsets, ironmongery and general joinery items.
