Arthur Rank Hospice

Internal Fit-Out

The project consisted of the construction of a new two storey hospice building incorporating patient and ward areas, consulting and treatment rooms and communal spaces.

The new building was constructed using a steel framed structure with composite steel/concrete to the upper floors and flat roof areas. The external envelope of the building was formed with a combination of through coloured render and larch timber cladding supported off a metsec steel external wall framing system together with timber composite windows and screens. The roof areas are being formed with a combination of standing seam zinc cladding to the mono pitched areas and insulated green roofs to the flat roof areas.

Internally, the room spaces are formed with metal stud partitions and good quality, robust finishes are being incorporated together with specialist fixtures and fittings. The building also included complex mechanical and electrical installations.

Our works included the external cladding, internal doorsets, ironmongery, FF&E and general joinery items.
